Η Σιβιτανίδειος Δημόσια Σχολή Τεχνών και
Επαγγελμάτων στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος Erasmus KA2 «Green Labs for VET” διοργανώνει την τρίτη εβδομάδα Δραστηριοτήτων
Μάθησης και Διδασκαλίας (LTTA), από 27
Απριλίου έως και τη 1η Μαίου 2026.
Μαθητές από το Malta College of Arts Science and Technology στη Μάλτα, την Τεχνική σχολή CPIFP Piramide στην Ισπανία, και το Επαγγελματικό λύκειο Οrde Copela στη Βόρεια Μακεδονία, μαζί με μαθητές και μαθήτριες του 1ου ΕΠΑΛ Σιβιτανιδείου και σπουδαστές και σπουδάστριες της ΣΑΕΚ θα συμμετέχουν, για μία έβδομάδα, σε πρακτικές δραστηριότητες και εργαστηριακές ασκήσεις με επίκεντρο την προστασία του περιβάλλοντος, τη βιωσιμότητα στην πράξη και τη συνεργασία πέρα από τα σύνορα.
Οι μαθητές τις δύο πρώτες μέρες του προγράμματος συμμετείχαν σε «πράσινα εργαστήρια» που αφορούν σε:
- Εργαστηριακές συνεδρίες εξερεύνσης και δημιουργίας Κηραλοιφών με θεραπευτικές ιδιότητες, εκχύλιση αρωματικών ελαίων, σαπωνοποίηση - δημιουργία σαπουνιών από ελαιόλαδο
- Εργαστηριακές μετρήσεις χλωροφύλλης και πρόβειου γάλακτος
- Επιτόπιες συζητήσεις σχετικά με βιώσιμες πρακτικές για την κατανόηση του τρόπου με τον οποίο συγκεκριμένα βότανα (π.χ. καλέντουλα, σπαθόχορτο) βοηθούν στην επούλωση και την αναγέννηση των κυττάρων του δέρματος και ότι τα αιθέρια έλαια της φύσης δεν παρασκευάζονται, αλλά εξάγονται από φυτικά υλικά.
- Ανταλλαγές απόψεων, γνώσεων και τεχνικών μεταξύ χωρών εταίρων
Την Δευτέρα 27 Απρίλιου, οι συμμετέχοντες επισκέφτηκαν το νέο μουσείο της Ακρόπολης - ένα σύγχρονο πράσινο κτίριο - και εξερεύνησαν τον «Ιερό Βράχο» της Ακρόπολης, ο οποίος ενσωματώνεται άψογα στο φυσικό τοπίο. Όσον αφορά τη βιώσιμη αρχιτεκτονική, ο στόχος δεν είναι μόνο η προστασία του περιβάλλοντος, αλλά και η δημιουργία χώρων που είναι ασφαλείς και υγιείς για τους τελικούς χρήστες τους. Οι αρχαίοι Έλληνες δεν έβλεπαν το περιβάλλον ως εμπόδιο. Αν μη τι άλλο, ήταν μέρος του κτιρίου. Η Ακρόπολη είναι ένα παράδειγμα. Ήταν χτισμένη σε έναν λόφο, μια τεχνική που οι Έλληνες χρησιμοποιούσαν συχνά για να μονώνουν τα κτίρια από ακραίες θερμοκρασίες. Χρησιμοποίησαν επίσης το περιβάλλον τους για αισθητική και τους πρόσφεραν όμορφη θέα στο φυσικό τοπίο γύρω τους.
Η επίσκεψη στο νέο Μουσείο της Ακρόπολης και στον “Ιερό Βράχο” μας υπενθυμίζει ότι η βιωσιμότητα δεν αφορά μόνο την καινοτομία και τις νέες τεχνολογίες, αλλά και τη μάθηση από το παρελθόν όπως:
- Αρχιτεκτονική προσαρμοσμένη στο κλίμα
- Διατήρηση της πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς
- Βιώσιμα αστικά περιβάλλοντα
- η αξία της βιώσιμης χρήσης των φυσικών πόρων και της ισορροπίας μεταξύ σύγχρονων κτιρίων και αρχαίων μνημείων
Την Τρίτη 28 Απρίλιου επισκέφτηκαν την Μονάδα Επεξεργασίας Νερού Ασπροπύργου, η οποία είναι μία από τις πιο σύγχρονες μονάδες επεξεργασίας νερού στην Ελλάδα και μία από τις τέσσερις που λειτουργεί η ΕΥΔΑΠ, με έμφαση στην προστασία του περιβάλλοντος και στη διασφάλιση της ποιότητας ζωής, καθώς εδώ το νερό επεξεργάζεται για να καταστεί πόσιμο. Η Μονάδα Επεξεργασίας Νερού Ασπροπύργου ξεκίνησε τη λειτουργία της το 1997 και έχει δυναμικότητα διύλισης περίπου 200.000 κυβικών μέτρων νερού την ημέρα, ενώ βρίσκεται σε υψόμετρο 232 μέτρων. Εφοδιάζει το Θριάσιο, τη Σαλαμίνα και τα δυτικά προάστια της Αθήνας.
Δύο ημέρες γεμάτες πρακτική μάθηση, πειράματα, περιβαλλοντικές ανησυχίες, διεθνή συνεργασία πολιτισμό και βιωσιμότητα!!!

Learning Teaching & Training Activity (LTTA) for “Green Labs 4 VET” Erasmus KA2 Project
Sivitanidios Public School of Arts and Professions , within the framework of the Erasmus KA2 program "Green Labs for VET", is organizing the third week of Learning and Teaching Activities (LTTA), from April 27 to May 1, 2026.
Students from Malta College of Arts Science and Technology in Malta, the CPIFP Piramide Technical School in Spain, and the SOU ”Orde Copela” Vocational High School in North Macedonia, together with students from the 1st EPAL of Sivitanidios and learners from SAEK Sivitanidiou, will participate in hands-on activities focusing on environmental awareness, innovation, sustainability in practice and collaboration across borders.
Day 1 of the LTTA week hosted at Sivitanidios Public School of Arts and Professions in Athens Greece, was all about experiential learning and practical lab sessions exploring Wax Ointment, extraction of Aromatic Oils and Saponification.
Students didn’t just observe they engaged, tested and create beeswax
ointment, olive oil soaps and extract essential oils.
On-site discussions on sustainable practices to understand how specific herbs (e.g. calendula, sphatholatum) help in the healing and regeneration of skin cells and explain that nature essential oils are not made, but instead, they are extracted from plant materials.
Participants also visited the new museum of Acropolis – a modern green building which has become famous for the Greek classical treasures it is exhibiting - and explored the “Sacred Rock” of Acropolis, which seamlessly integrates with the natural landscape, showcasing the innovative fusion of Classical art styles. When it comes to sustainable architecture, the goal is not just to protect the environment but also to create spaces that are safe and healthy for their end users. Ancient Greeks did not see the environment as a hindrance. If anything, it was part of the building. The Acropolis is an example. It was built into a hill, which was a technique that the Greeks often used to insulate buildings from extreme temperatures. But it wasn't always about function. They also used their surroundings for aesthetics; they offered them beautiful views of the natural landscapes around them.
Meaningful exchanges between partner countries in order to understand the value of sustainable use of natural resources and the balance and the connection between modern buildings and ancient monuments.
Day 2 of the LTTA week, hosted at Sivitanidios Public School of Arts and Professions in Athens Greece.
In the morning the participants -students and teachers- visited the Aspropyrgos Water Treatment Plant, one of the most modern water treatment plants in Greece and one of the four operated by Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Αthens S.A. (EYDAP), with a focus on environmental protection and ensuring the quality of life, as there the water is treated to make it drinkable. The Aspropyrgos WTP began operating in 1997 and has a refining capacity of approximately 200,000 cubic meters of water per day while it is located at an altitude of 232 meters. It supplies Thriasio, Salamina and the western suburbs of Athens
Later on, the students from Malta College of Arts Science and Technology in Malta, CPIFP Piramide Technical School in Huesca, Spain and SOU “Orde Copela” Vocational High School in North Macedonia, participated with students from 1st VET School in Laboratory measurements of chlorophyll and Laboratory measurements of sheep milk at Sivitanidios. Students were invited to provide ideas about efficient cultivation and water resources and to give the definition of quality, distinguish the samples of milk and the benefits of photosynthesis.
